Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, located in Maharashtra, is one of the country's oldest and most famous tiger reserves. It is renowned for its population of Bengal tigers, making it a prime destination for nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers. In addition to tigers, the reserve is home to leopards, Sloth Bears, Indian Bison, wild dogs and various species of deer. The reserve is also rich in its avian population, with over 200 bird species recorded. Conservation efforts focus on protecting the tiger population, making Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve a critical sanctuary for ‘Project Tiger’ and India's wildlife.
